I got one of these braces years ago and have forgotten how I got them. One of my doctors probably told me that. I can't control my left foot and this device has saved me from stumbling many times. After I lost my balance, the doctors put me in a corset that went up to my knees. It is made of thick metal and uses cloth material for attachment. It requires a lot of maintenance and after a short time it no longer lasts as well. I went back to the Swedish orthosis and found that it protected my foot much better. Unfortunately I tried it with thick socks and it broke. I went through many pages of Revain materials to find it and after ordering it and making sure it was still reliable I ordered 2 more as a backup.
