Review on 💡 Maxxima 18 inch LED Under Cabinet Light: 900 Lumens Warm White 3000K, On/Off Switch, Plug in, Energy Star by Edward Taylor

Technically the dimensions are correct, but I'm disappointed. I assumed the light would be emitted from the entire 18 inch width like the fluorescent counterparts, but the lens is actually cut a few inches on each side, including the metal posts covering the extreme ends and the LED strips inside is even shorter! When we turn on the light it's quite bright, when new it makes up for the inconsistencies, although I liked the longer light reaching the extreme ends of the product like the original fluorescent lights under the cabinet. I think this should be openly disclosed as 12 inches of lightweight tape doesn't = 18 inches to me. The older tubes were shorter and the clear lens stretched the light a full 18 inches, utilizing all of the wasted space the product occupied. This is me. I pay attention to these things. When you just need a little light, this disposable wand will get the job done. Since LEDs do fade over time I don't know how this one will be fair. It is very light and made entirely of plastic. The switch is acceptable. No obvious problems months in use.
