So I have a problem with my dog eating too much. Much of the problem lies in the lack of an effective system of communication between my wife and I about whether or not we fed her, and she was fed twice as much. In any case, I was dying to try this product, not only because it was an automatic feeder, but also because it had a camera and the ability to talk to your pet remotely! Setup was pretty easy. The instructions are well written. You need to download an application that manages the system. It must be connected to the network. And that's okay. I installed and tested it while I was at home and it worked great. I noticed that the talk function is a bit buggy. For example, when I try to talk to my dog, I get errors. I've read some other reviews about food getting stuck and haven't had this problem. I've been using it for over a week and haven't had any problems. I buy small breeds/small kibble so maybe that makes a difference. The food storage part is quite large and I haven't had to refill it yet. And the lid is securely locked so my dog can't open it. The tray is made in the shape of a cute cat head. I don't know if a medium or large dog will like it, she's a bit small. But I have a small dog so this works perfectly for me. I noticed that the camera doesn't record anything when it's dark. I have to leave the light on. Which suits me so my dog won't be left in the dark (don't know if she takes care of her or not lol). You can also record things that I think are pretty cool! The picture quality is actually pretty good too. In general I like it. I wish I could use the talk feature more efficiently, but it's not that big of a deal.
