I've used foil and every other method of removing gel polish (I won't use an electric file because I have real nails and it tends to remove too many layers from my nails) and nothing else works as well I sawed off some gel but stopped when I couldn't see the nail bed. I applied acetone to the cotton and used clamps to hold it in place for 5 minutes. MOST gel chipped/peeled in one application! I reapplied the soaked cotton to nails that weren't entirely clean and within 5 minutes the nail polish was 100% off! My new favorite way to remove gel from my natural nails AND at a rock-bottom price!
