I used this item once on a 25ft 4" PVC fan. It's a little difficult, but it gets better with practice. The brush head is just over 4 inches in diameter and works well on loose, loose hair. That. When the vent was cleaned 2 1/2 years ago it hasn't been cleaned in over 12 years. The plumber used a rotating shaft with a hard plastic head. but couldn't find it anywhere. So if I had a suggestion for this device, it would be to provide a cleaner head with more reliable cleaning ability. For my use this time - more than two years of building work - this system worked well.
