Regulator fits perfectly (2004 Acura TL) and works like a charm. I read that many reviewers complain about the "Auto" function. The problem has nothing to do with the ESC as it is just a motor. The car's processor needs to be calibrated for the upper and lower window positions. The procedure is as follows: 1) Turn the ignition key to the "Accessories" position (turn on the radio and dashboard). 2) Hold switch and count to 2 or 3 (may vary with other manufacturers), then release. 3) Hold down the down switch until the window stops and hold for another 3 counts, then release. That should work. Try again, if this doesn't work the first time, turn off the device first and try again. Another installation tip, if the controller motor is stuck in the up position, cut off one of the 2 thick transport cables (please not the power cables); This should help you lower the window halfway (with someone holding the glass) until you can see the screws holding the glass to the two access hole adjusters in the door panel frame. Good luck and thanks for reading my chatty tirade.
