This funnel kit did what it was supposed to. A large funnel attached to the radiator filler neck forms a reservoir into which the coolant expands when the cooling system is bled. The last time I bled my cooling system without a funnel attached, antifreeze flowed everywhere. I also threw away some antifreeze with this system, but not as much as before. It was also a learning experience and I think I can do even better next time. I would fill the radiator almost to the brim with a regular funnel and then attach the funnel from this kit when I was ready to start the engine to bleed the system. The problem with filling the radiator through a funnel that fits snugly into the filler neck is that the antifreeze will burp and splatter as it fills. Also, depending on the vehicle and bleeding method, be careful not to pour too much antifreeze into the radiator. I filled it just to the bottom of the funnel and it was too much. Although the kit funnel is large, it almost overflowed while I was waiting for the thermostat to open. Next time I plan to fill about an inch below the filler neck and that should give me a safety margin so the funnel doesn't overflow. The corner jets were helpful in keeping the funnel level and everything was tight. I haven't had any problems with seepage around the joints.
