I am an experienced line dance teacher. In one of our centers the floor was renewed. They removed the beautiful wooden floor and replaced it with what I see everywhere. Vinyl {sort of} but it has a bit of texture. My other styles of dance socks just didn't fit. That little bit of texture on the bottom made it even harder to turn etc. The 2ft socks made a huge difference. Another fabric, denser. Although they are a little tighter on the shoe, I had no problem putting them on and taking them off with my (large) sneakers. Out of four packs, I was able to share two pairs and have two for myself. If you already wear dance socks but still feel like you're not gliding smoothly on the dance floor (your sore knees will let you know), try these! Highly recommended.
