After both latches on my folding doors on my motor home broke I had to constantly find ways to prop them up by opening and packing and unpacking. They were easy to install. I didn't even bother to install them on the door. I just lined it up where the locking pawl was sticking out. This piece sticks directly to the RV's high power magnet. What difference can matter.
