. It fits my rims perfectly. The aluminum rims used Gord's aluminum chrome polish, 0000 steel wool and 1000 and 3000 grit sandpaper. I was very happy with the finish, I thought it would fit It will be a lot harder to remove the black than it was, you have to follow the instructions, although on Gords I only used tapered wheels, the first wheel at the end of polishing broke, I pressed quite hard, it's a steel rod on the outside and a plastic rod on the inside, but if you let the polish do its job, keep it wet, it will do its job. I also used flat wool. I think the entire bar is metal it worked great you catch them on sharp corners they don't hold up and you can't push the cones much.
