I have owned this device for three years. I am a seamstress and I use this for my business up to five hours a day. Having happily spent the money to switch to a professional flat iron, I'm starting to think the thing isn't that professional. It is important to know that this company is headquartered in Canada, where all of their products have to be shipped to. for repair. And, if you read the reviews, most likely a repair. I had to send mine in twice, the first of which was under warranty (boiler stopped working), but shipping costs were my responsibility. The second was very expensive (the foundation of the reservoir was leaking), mainly because of the freight. Now I have a third problem with this iron (the bottom of the steam hose is dripping onto its steel fitting, dripping dirty water onto my projects) and most likely won't be shipping it again. If, like me, you chose this iron because ANY OTHER IRON is disappointing, keep looking. To fix the last issue with mine I will try to find someone local who will try to fix the leak. If that doesn't work, I vow to do what others have done - buy a "disposable" block and throw it away if it leaks.
