This watch is very cool and has a lot of different features. Acting like an awakening light, it provides a gradual brightening of your space, progressing through a pleasant gradient like a sunrise. You can adjust how bright you want it to be AND how long you want it to last, which is nice. So if you set the alarm for 7:00 a.m. and choose a duration of 60 minutes, the sunrise will start at 6:00 a.m. It is much more pleasant to wake up with light than with an alarm clock. The clock also has a sunset function that does the same thing in reverse (no alarm - you just choose how long/bright). This would be great for kids who are afraid of the dark and want it to be lighter when they first go to bed. Aside from the sunrise/sunset features, you can also change the color of the clock or choose a static color, which I really like. I also like that you can choose between lighter, darker or no time display. The alarms have different nature sounds or FM radio to choose from and you can adjust the volume of the alarm. You can also choose from several nature sounds or the sleep radio. This watch has so many different options that not referring to the manual can take a little practice. The FM radio searches for stations and saves them. So when you want to listen to the radio, it may take some time to get to the station you want. I don't think you can set the frequency manually. Overall, though, it's very unique, fun, and versatile. I definitely recommend this watch.
