My Canon 5ds and 600mm f4 are now sitting next to me on this gimbal. Equipment for $13,000. I wanted a good head but was shocked at the cost of Gitzo and Wimberly. I use a Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod, so when I saw this Movo carbon fiber head it was 1/4 Wimberly/. I bought it thinking that a decent gimbal head is worth trying. BIG MOVEMENT. pat yourself on the back. This is a very solid, well made mount for my camera and lens. I can adjust the friction, balance the lens, and easily rotate and track birds and distant shots without sacrificing stability. Given the "fun" of training in the safety of my office, I have no hesitation in using it in the field.
