Useful for checking "full " tanks

Just got this sensor and am happy with it. As a result, I am not happy with the Blue Rhino. I first tried the sensor on an empty tank and it didn't move from "E". I took it with me when I got the Blue Rhino replacement tank. The first tank they brought was about 5/8 full. I asked her to buy me another one. It showed about 3/4 full. I wasn't sure how accurate the sensor was and I needed propane so I took it. I weighed the tank on an electronic scale when I got home. It was 32.1 pounds. The tare weight listed on the rim of the tank was 16.6lbs, so I got 15.5lbs of propane in a "20lb" tank and the scale was very accurate. I thought Blue Rhino just settled a class action lawsuit for under filling the tanks. I think I'll go to a propane station in the future instead of using the Blue Rhino exchange program. Additional Information: I was just checking Blue Rhino's website and found the following: Due to rising costs, Blue Rhino has followed the example of other consumer products companies and reformulated the product. We've reduced the amount of propane in our tanks from 17lbs to 15lbs.” So I guess the £15.5 I got is a 'full' tank these days!
