I have 5 of these in dark solid colors. They are stretchy and smooth, but the scoop neck is a bit too low for me. I sized up from medium to large and pair them with a higher-necked cotton tank top in a complementary color. Very comfy and cozy for chilly weather, but dressy enough to wear to a restaurant or the theater. Machine washing gentle and tumbling dry low with similar colors works for me, but do so at your own risk as this goes against the manufacturer's instructions.
