It arrived quickly and was well packaged in a large box which I was able to bring around the house myself without too much trouble. My kids quickly started playing with it and using it as a toy more than I imagined. It was really an advantage in terms of play and imagination. He's tougher than I thought, in a good way. I had a concern that it would be too soft due to the cheap foam and it would fall in if someone sat on it. I bought it mainly to sit in the baby's room, but it holds its shape very well and hasn't sagged at all yet. Firm but still comfortable. Likewise, someone could sleep in it, and it would be quite comfortable for a few nights. The thinner layer is the same height as one of the thicker pillows when folded, so even an adult can lie on it without stretching legs or head over the edge. So a nice bonus is that it can easily be an extra bed for a company or if someone wets the bed. In sofa mode it took a minute to get used to sitting on it as the back cushions are triangular, but we really liked it and our family of four could easily stand on it to read together. We were surprised at how well the back pads adhere to the base, even when not leaning against the wall. Again, the biggest plus is all the ways our kids can (and want) to play with it. Because it is light, we can easily move it to different parts of the house, and the kids will build and play with all kinds of things with it. So far it appears to be built well enough to withstand abuse and not lose its shape. This is my biggest problem at the moment and I will update if it turns out not to be permanent. However, I suspect it will come at a slightly expensive price point.
