I bought this to replace the new one I bought from Verizon with my phone. I should have known the plastic clip would break. It went like this for almost a month! This is made of more durable material and has two different locks with flaps. One with Velcro and one with a buckle. I like the strap closure because it's the second way to secure your phone when you don't want to lose it (running, tight spots, etc.). I use a wide belt loop on the back to keep it secure. As you can imagine I only use flip phones because they are durable, inexpensive and work like a phone all the time. I don't see the phone as an entertainment device or a means of social interaction.
