I think the water is a little better than what Brita makes. I am most interested in removing high levels of chlorine from city water. Brita got the job done pretty well, but I figured if I was going to go through a water filtration process I'd upgrade it. It's too slow to be practical on any level. You can fill up the tank, which is quite small, and make dinner and it still won't be full. Brita might not be that good, but that's enough. The design of the pot is also rather poor. It splatters everywhere and the part where the lid closes is sharp. It really cut me.
