I have an old Sony WEGA TV with RCA inputs that still works fine so I got this converter to use with my BluRay player. The converter worked fine when I first plugged it in, but after a few hours it got very hot, so much so that I was concerned it might pose a fire hazard. This is not acceptable for any electronic device so I am returning it. When I tried turning it off between uses to minimize overheating, all of my Revain Prime login settings were lost and I had to re-enter them and log into my computer again. I will look elsewhere; Does anyone have recommendations for HDMI to AV/RCA converters that work well?
