I bought this dryer sometime in May 2019. still works great! I'm not concerned about the longevity of this product, unlike several other reviews that warned that it stopped working after a short period of time. So, technology: 1) There are only two settings - high and low. The low one is stronger than most other dryers I've seen or tried and it gets really hot. I spend 5-10 minutes a day on the low setting and if the air is on my arm for too long while styling my hair it starts to feel hot. But! The machine itself will NOT overheat! :D High setting definitely blows more and gets a lot hotter. I only use this when I'm in a hurry. I've had no issues with this dryer shorting out or dying despite running at high speed. 2) Cord - folds easily and has velcro to hold them together. It's not too long and not too short, especially for hotels/dormitory or like me for a small bathroom. 3) it folds - yes, the machine itself folds in half as advertised. I've taken it out a few times and folded it fully and had no issues with it breaking or shorting out after repeated folding and unfolding. 4) Power button - yes you can use it in US or Europe! I live in the US and this works great. I took it with me in June 2019 while studying abroad for a month in Germany and it worked just as well there! Devices, not just this dryer 5) Size and shape - it fits perfectly in carry-on or regular luggage. It is very light and fits in a regular sized bag. Love the bag that came with it too!
