I searched a lot before purchasing this tile. I didn't want anything too ornate because my new home isn't Versailles. This style looks clean and neat visually. I didn't want it to be for the entire space so I only did the bathrooms, my study and laundry room (small areas). My builder didn't like them very much because he said they were fussy to work with and perishable (he can't work fast, that's what he meant). I knew at the time that he would charge me a hefty fee for this (haven't seen the final number yet). I painted it the same white as the trim and doors prior to installation, but I had to get the contractor to spray paint it. Overall, I'm glad I chose this particular ceiling tile.
