Review on RiverWorks 27 153 3 Pound Forged Carbon by Simo Ramsey

For the price this hammer just isn't good quality. Machining marks make me wonder how it was forged, the thick blue paint covering the surface (probably to hide the scrap marks) just smears all over the face if you try to scratch the face or the stylus, and the grip is rough and loose grain. To top it off, the texture of the handle wasn't aligned with the head (unlike the photo, so they should know what a good handle looks like) and the head was hung at a slight angle so the face was tilted Low. The hammer came dirty what you know is a hammer but that only speaks to the lack of quality and care put into this product. It would be a regular $10 hammer but not for the price they charge. Unfortunately I needed it as soon as I received it so I had to use it instead of just sending it back. Look elsewhere if you really need a good hammer!
