Review on ๐Ÿงน Smart Mop by POLTI Vaporetto by Tory Richardson

Garbage! A few questions. Don't buy this if you're trying to fix a bug issue.

I bought it even though it didn't have many reviews because I saw it was recommended on a bed bug website. Firstly, if you are looking for a steam mop then this one will do the trick. If you're looking for a high performance vaporizer with lots of heat, look elsewhere. It doesn't maintain the 212 degrees needed to kill bed bugs instantly (although the bed bug data sheet says it does). I've used my spot thermal thermometer with different attachments, under different conditions, etc. The temperature of the vapor was not constant (nor was the pressure). In some cases the vapor was just over 100 degrees (I understand the tank reaching a much higher temperature, but something happens to it from there to the tip of the nozzle). When I used this on a mattress (with the recommended attachment) and moved so slowly that my hand later hurt, the bed bugs laughed and continued to have fun. I have fired some of them directly with heat for 30 seconds or more several times. Nothing. 2. Problem: Water splashes everywhere when starting the vaporizer and some attachments drip and get wet (soaking everything else) during use. 3rd problem: It does not take a full hour as stated in the literature. 4. Question: You cannot tell how much water is in the tank. It is very accurate as it can only hold 54 oz. Let's say it's completely empty and you invested 54 ounces, worked for a while and decided to turn it off and come back later. How much water is left? How long will this go on? You have no idea because there is no sensor. Adding to the frustration is that once you get it up and running you have to wait for the unit to cool down and depressurize before you can open the valve and pour more water in. No quick process. 5. Question: Doesn't heat up in 8 minutes. More like 20 minutes. Disappointed. Wouldn't recommend it.
