The straps are perfect for the Dirt Devil. I put the vacuum through some heavy cleaning that included a lot of dog hair, lint, and some sewing machine thread. Depending on the vacuum cleaner, the main roller and brushes are crushed during heavy cleaning work, which can lead to excessive stress on the belts and shorten their lifespan. Be sure to listen to the pulleys and the smell of burnt rubber emanating from the belts. Otherwise, the straps are perfect as a replacement and serve for normal home use in everyday life.
