I rate it 4 stars because I think it's suitable for a certain group of people. I ordered these for my mother who has dementia. Sponge-like tampons are more like a brush, so an older person may associate the sponge with oral care. Tampons don't feel like a toothbrush, so they didn't meet my needs for my mom. I just ordered small sponge swabs.
