I got Optiplex 990, everything is as in the description. It was sent in a well padded box. It also included a power cord and a smaller box with a keyboard, mouse, and USB wireless adapter. There is no graphics card - the motherboard has a built-in DisplayPort graphics output that worked. I connected the PC to the monitor, connected the keyboard/mouse/WiFi, turned it on and it went through the initial Windows 10 setup process with no issues. It was a real Windows 10 Pro installation (fully activated). I could tell it was Pro and not Home because I could enable remote desktop server. The keyboard was a bit inferior - it had a "" key between "," and Enter. The mouse didn't seem to work properly as it only moved the cursor left/right, not up/down. No big deal as I had others. There was only one of the plastic hard drive trays in the case, although there are 2 internal slots. There are 4 SATA connectors on the motherboard. All USB ports are USB 2.0 (not 3.0). There are 4 RAM slots on the motherboard for a total of 8GB, with 2 slots filled with Hynix 4GB 2Rx8 PC3-1200U-11-11-B1 sticks. You can upgrade the memory. The 500GB drive is a spinning disc, so it takes 3-4 minutes to load. Using Windows was fine, but felt sluggish due to the hard drive. I decided to purchase a small 240GB SATA Solid State Drive (SSD, $30) - it was the biggest bang for your buck and it was essentially eliminated. "Slowness" of the machine. Later I also added a 3TB SATA hard drive but I'm having trouble recognizing it in Windows. The BIOS turned out to be very old (2014?) but easily updated by downloading a utility from the Dell support site. I knew it was a used computer and might have scratches etc but was surprised at how few scratches there were actually. Just a few flaws, not bad at all. Dell cases are very well designed, easy to open and modify, and compact. modification and that's a lot for what you get.
