Easier to use than the reviews suggest!
Very easy to use. There are some more advanced modes of operation that most people will probably never use (like finding the area of a wall). Otherwise it's easy to use, just point the laser and read the temperature. The measuring range is not small. It averages the temperature over a range that increases with range, so I don't think you can measure the temperature of a component on a circuit board, for example. To check the calibration I measured the temperature of the ice water at +/- 0.2. Grade C, so pretty good. All in all a handy device and a very good price-performance ratio.
