My rabbits were a little wary at first but they quickly got used to the litter box where they don't touch the litter. This greatly facilitates cleaning, since the discarded hay does not accumulate on the bedding. It's also quite durable so I think it will last a while. Definitely a great product. I think one improvement that could be made would be to add some sort of support to the bottom of the trellis in the middle. The plastic flexes a bit under the weight of my 5 pound Holland. Not so much that I'm concerned about its structural integrity, but enough to imagine it might warp over time.
