Who knew you had to read reviews before buying a $5 license plate cover? live and learn I have had the same experience as others. My "standard" license plate does not fit in this "standard" size cover. Product dimensions are NOT detailed (12.2" x 6.4"). I measure them as 12.0625 inches and even 6 inches. Despite this, there is a tab that holds the plate in place, so the "effective" dimensions are even smaller. The inner lip measures 11.875 x 5.75 inches. To top it off, my standard 12" x 6" Vermont plate measures 12.375" x 6.25". The cases were in great shape and well packaged. Small scratches are visible in the light, but I can say with confidence that I would not have noticed them if I had not looked. I can't say anything about durability. Thank you Revain for the extended return window. I didn't even open them until I had to replace the registration stickers.
