Doesn't solve the problem.
These appear to be inspired by Rexspeed's 3 raised groove deflectors but lack the "lip" on the edge that actually functions as part of the wind deflector. Does nothing to solve the problem. EDIT - $10 Hypersonic door edge protectors + $70 M-Sport Z4 G29 mirror caps and you can fix the problem more thoroughly and also replace the standard textured mirror caps with cheaper ones than these knockoffs.
