Absolute rubbish, best in security locks

The only thing a fingerprint scanner has to do reliably is to confirm the correct fingerprint. Isn't it, period. I should have smelled something wrong when the installation didn't take care of the "okay, now lift your finger and place it at a different angle so I can get more detail" part of the process. If I had had the packaging it came in I would have sent it back.
