To install this motor you must remove the power window.
The motor is of high quality, it works as it should. Be careful when replacing an old motor. You need to take the power window out of the door, and then when you take the old motor out of the regulator, make sure the wire spool for the wires doesn't come out of the housing that the motor goes back into.
