I bought these for a Mad Scientist themed party for my friend's birthday. My plan was to use them to store flavored sugar at the coffee and tea station. The cardboard test tube rack that comes with it is a joke: it came bent and looked so cheap that I overpaid for a pair of wooden test tube racks at the last minute. I liked that they are plastic (no risk). broken glass) and the colors are fun. My plan was for each color to have a different sugar flavor. However, the lids just don't close tightly. When I filled these tubes with sugar for the first time, I closed the tube, placed it on the stand and noticed after 5 minutes that the lid was slowly lifting. I don't recommend buying these if they need to remain sealed, such as B. in a child's gift bag.
