I saw a moth of clothes at a time so I bought this product (after putting all my wool clothes in mothproof and canned plastic containers). closet and was locked with Mols. Five are now, an hour later, trapped. Pheromones stuck to my fingers and the moths followed me out of the closet. I threw the foil wrapper and other paper in the trash and bagged it for recycling. There's no point in luring moths into the trash can. Looking back, I would open the bag in the kitchen or guest bathroom. I would peel the glue trap cover away from the hanger from the end (I ripped the hanger the way I did it). I would have duct tape on hand in case the handle breaks. When everything was assembled and ready to hang, I threw the packaging in a plastic bag (no point in attracting moths to the packaging) and then washed my hands twice (no point in attracting moths to yourself). Then I went to the closet and carefully hung the trap.
