These are great socks. I am female who wears a rather large, size 9-1/2 shoe, so I tend to buy men's socks. These are wonderful! 80% wool and warm and THICK! Beware, if you wear tight shoes they might be TOO thick. I thought I was getting "Brown" (that's what the Best Buy page says) - but they are actually kind of a tweedy-looking black-and-white, which is fine with me - I prefer it to Brown. Am thinking of getting 2 more pairs. I don't think you'll be sorry if you buy these. I got them because of frigid New England weather.
