I am extremely picky about everything and even more so about cleaning my house. I bought iRoboto/Roomba when they first came out in 2002 and it was a piece of junk. Well we've come a long way baby! I saw one in action at a relative's house so I decided to give the Robovak another try. I have bought and returned all the highly rated robot vacuums, Roomba, Ecovacs etc and this machine has proven to be the best for easy cleaning. It not only performs excellently on the bare floor, but also on the carpet (medium pile). Before this machine, I vacuumed once a day or every two days. Now I vacuum once or twice a month. I have a house and a very hairy Border Collie and this machine can handle both. It's also very quiet compared to other robots I've tested. However, it has some disadvantages: 1. The battery does not last long. I didn't realize it, but the machine doesn't last an hour on a single charge. I don't have a big house so he does a great job cleaning my house during this time. If you have a big house, this might be a problem for you.2. The machine never returns to its charging station on its own (as it should). He just goes under some kind of sofa somewhere and dies and I have to grab him and attack him.3. Doesn't clean corners well. I have to suck this crap myself. Aside from those three negatives I would say this machine is well worth the price and one of the best purchases I've made from Revain!
