Review on Silicone Adhesive Eyeglass Anti Slip Sunglasses by Latoya Luckett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well but is not durable in humid environments.

Works great. if they stay. The very first pair I put on helped me fit the glasses perfectly - they didn't slide down my nose or touch my cheeks. However, I went camping that week and it was very humid and by the end of the week the glue had melted a bit and they were slipping off. The second pair I put on lasted about 3 weeks but as I left my glasses in the bathroom while showering I think the steam re-melted the glue as they fell off soon after. There are a decent number of spares in the kit and a good price, but I'm not a fan of repeating them every time I'm in a wet spot for too long. They also leave a thin film on the lenses that needs to be removed when the glue melts. The layer consists of the nose pad, the sticky glue, the outside sticky film/tape, and then your glasses. When the glue melts it can easily get on your nose and on the lens of your glasses themselves, then the pad will slip off and you will have to remove the thin film from the bridge of the glasses. So I guess you get what you pay for, it's good when it works but might not last long unless it's in great sticky conditions. I received a package of silicone temple pads which are great for keeping the goggles in place. However, if you have a lot of hair like me, be aware that it can sometimes get stuck to your hair (not necessarily sticking to it, but staying in place all too well, if that makes sense).
