I ordered two of these. I've had them for about 9 months now and they lick no matter what I do (and my friends call me MacGyver). One leaks out of the outside port (which sucks for trying to connect the hose by the way - I highly recommend some quick connects if you still think you need it after reading this article) and the other keeps filling up, for yourself when the float is all the way up, it cannot prevent water from entering. It is difficult to install because the screw holes are behind the protective cover, so you need to disassemble the whole thing to install. Cleaning is also frustrating because you need pliers to tighten the drain plug just enough so it doesn't leak in two places, but since mine is deep-sunk for animals, I either have to fumble around for ages to unscrew it or go down . look into the dirt (because it's leaking), unscrew and clean. The only benefit is that the green bowl actually feels sturdy. So if you want a strong but leakproof bowl then this is for you.
