The only thing keeping this from being a 5-Star alarm clock is the design of the base - it's curved up on each end and if your hand is a little too far to one side or the other, the clock will tilt over and probably fall over. Oh - and the snooze button needs to be raised a little above the level of the other buttons so it's easier to find and push without pushing another button too. Other than those two things I really like this clock. Plenty loud alarm and plenty bright display. On the lowest brightness level it will light a dark room; dimly, but you can see everything. Fortunately, you can turn off the display.
