I have been using MX Ergo at work for about six months, I also decided to take a trackball home, chose this one - it is cheaper and, most importantly, lighter than MX Ergo, you can take it with you on business trips (you can buy an excellent case on Ali). The materials, of course, are simpler, but it costs 2 times less. It lies almost the same in the palm, the angle is average between the two positions of the MX Ergo. If you only need 1 trackball that you don't take anywhere, and the budget allows, take the MX Ergo. If you need a second "on the hook", or you need to save money - this trackball is perfect. I will ate my review after 6 months of use.
