Yes, it works with the M1 MacBook Pro to access secondary displays in combination with DisplayLink download and drivers. No, it is not error free. Some apps experience glitches when used, requiring disconnect and reconnect (e.g. Apple TV, which sometimes has issues with non-Apple displays).
