I have used these under a small 36 pellet "greenhouse ". The greenhouse is simply a tray with a lightweight plastic cover over 36 small pellet cylinders. Using the heat mat, every planted pellet has produced sprouts! Even if only 1/4 survive, the mats have paid for themselves!
- This heat mat was fun to have around so I could get an early start on my plants. Worked very well.
- The mat may not evenly distribute heat across the surface area
