My dog still doesn't really like this brush, although it's incredibly effective at dealing with the obscene amount of hair he leaves around the house. But my cats, who never liked being brushed, became really addicted to it. I think that's a good middle ground. The bristles are thick but positioned in a way that makes them very easy to clean. And the brush head itself is not hard. So if you have an old dog like us, it might be a little gentler on the skin. The handle is easy to hold in either hand, comfortable in any position without being bulky. like perfume when i opened it but it was a great perfume so did it work? :) I don't think everyone will have this experience. I suspect someone with an incredible taste in perfume returned it unused (outer packaging).
