Review on Bigmeda Kids Watch - 3D Cartoon Analog Quartz Wrist Watch for Boys and Girls, Waterproof Kid Watch with Silicone Strap - Teaching Watch by Joaquin Bennett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally a simple watch with no other functions / splash-proof

Our 6 year old daughter already has a watch (even from Bigmeda) which she really likes. The disadvantage of this other watch, however, is that it has a number of additional functions that are often accidentally activated. That cannot happen with this watch. It really only tells the time - no alarm, no date display, no stopwatch.* push in), but once set, the clock runs from one time position to the next. I would like to quickly rule out a usual adjustment of the time.* Legibility: The numbers on the dial are clearly legible. Because the minute and hour hands have different colors, even children who have just learned how to read a clock have a good orientation.* It is very quiet in the room, you can't hear it.* Bracelet: The bracelet is made of silicone and actually very comfortable to wear. One has to hope that the statement that the silicone is "healthy" is correct. It is not verifiable, and the CE mark can only be trusted to a limited extent. The strap is so long and has so many holes that the watch can be worn not only by our 6 year old, but theoretically by both her 3 year old sister and me.* Waterproof: The watch is advertised as waterproof ( up to 3ATM). The term "splash-proof" would be better, since you shouldn't hold them under a jet of water at 3ATM. If a few drops get on the watch when washing your hands, it can withstand it. That's good, because the children (have to) wash their hands very often at the moment.
