I wish there was a mat to lay on because it was a challenge for me. I need a waterproof mat, box with raised sides or non-absorbent floor. I also wish there were some hard spots so I can mark and define a place for them to do their pig business. My boys are wild and tend to kick their poop all over the floor when running or playing. Also, my piglets love the space they give them. They walk so much and each has their own little space to go into without crowding each other. I would definitely recommend this. I like the versatility of the design. This gives you the freedom to style it the way you see fit. I take another to pick her up off the floor.
