Review on Evelots Cassette Bag Organizer Storage Easy Moisture Hold by Rovy Oppeneer

Not very good, but not that much either

I miss the days when there were so many cartridge options. These are cheaper than some but not as good as the item below which I bought a few years ago and presumably retired in favor of these. They lasted less but were better shaped for cassettes. They are flat with a free partition that you insert between the rows of cassettes. I've tried the Snap n Store brand of CDs and Cassettes and while they look better and are a little stronger (though not by much) as far as the holders go they come off too easily. There is a trick I came up with to make this at least usable. If you lay it horizontally, it will be more difficult to keep the cartridges upright. So you can fold the pages and insert the cassettes. One obvious warning: make sure the whole thing is zipped up before you move it. I partially unzipped it to find a cassette for someone, looked through other things and apparently didn't zip it again. I was moving it a few feet, with another on top, when the bottom literally fell out and cassettes were flying everywhere (some of the cases broke). The two rows make it difficult to manage as there is nothing to hold the divider. This also makes handling difficult. more embarrassing, especially on a completely flat one. I understand that this saves a lot on shipping costs, but the product is less quality and more inconvenient to use. But unfortunately I haven't found anything better so far. The cassettes fit well when you have enough to fill, but it doesn't work well with anything less than full as they move around in it. ?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Pros
  • Do you take your cassette collection with you when you travel? Durable, comfortable polyester handles and a smooth zipper make it easy to grab and carry.
Cons
  • Very expensive
