This is the first time that I've felt compelled to go write a review on the day I receive an item, but I just had to do it for this one. The September Leather Traveler's Notebook cover is fantastic, and a phenomenal value as well! I love good quality leather, and this is top quality leather, with an awesome smell. There are many competing leather traveler's notebooks, and many of them are just a piece of leather with elastics. This one includes several thoughtfully placed pockets that allow you to keep your credit cards, receipts or loose notes safely secured in your notebook. It also includes not just one elastic, but four, allowing you to create a very flexible and complete notebook system for your needs. It has a reinforced spine, giving it the ability to support several notebook inserts at once without bulging.All the edges are fully sewn, which hopefully will prevent premature wear, but we'll see. The leather I got is a dark brown, and it's the kind that welcomes scratches and scuffs, as that gives it a unique character. This is thick, tough leather, but also soft and and flexible, and I expect it to last many years.At this price, it's a super value, and I couldn't be happier with it.
