I bought these hoping they'd have adequate padding in the right places for my ski boots. They were awesome!Really well designed. I wore these on my first ski trip in 4 years after severely breaking my lower right leg. I still have 1 of 5 plates left in it, plus my ankle is still pretty sensitive. With these socks on, I felt no pressure anywhere. Truly remarkable. The only thing I was puzzle by was that at 5'9" they come up well over my knees. No matter. I folded them down and had a fantastic weekend of skiing.
