Received this flip case today and thought wow this is really cool to be able to see notifications, time and charge status without opening the case. But then I noticed that the lid doesn't close. You put it in your pocket and the cover shifts, eventually breaking the "hinge" area. You slip it into your car phone holder and the lid pops or pops open with every bump and twist. I have a convertible and the lid swings open when the wind blows. I thought the lid would negate the need for a screen protector, and it's not like I haven't dropped it yet, but I can see where the lid pops open and the screen lands face down on the pavement. Overall the lid looks great and the S-View is pretty cool, I just wish it had a "magnet" catch to keep it from opening.
