Cloths are individually well wrapped in protective plastic sleeves. Cleaning wipes are wet, meaning they are soaked in some kind of chemical or wet solution. They also have a slight chemical odor. It doesn't smell and isn't strong, but it can be annoying for some people. It doesn't work for my glasses, but I had to wipe the lenses of my glasses multiple times for at least 30 seconds to get it to work. . I first rubbed it lightly for 10 seconds, it didn't work very well, see picture. However, on the second try it worked very well and the effectiveness lasted until the next day based on my real life experience. I think if I hadn't washed the grout with a regular cloth due to the regular cleaning, it would have lasted longer.
